About Us
Why the name Venn Tax and Bookkeeping?
I was looking for a name for my company that was a little unique. I wanted to pay homage to my Norwegian heritage and discovered that Venn is Norwegian for Friend. This is perfect as I truly do see my clients as my friends – they are not just a business relationship but a relationship where we work together to reach common goals.
I was also excited to find this because a Venn diagram is an illustration that uses circles to show the relationships among things or finite groups of things. This is perfect as it signifies the relationship between your business and mine.

Melody Reynolds, Senior Tax Preparer and Senior Bookkeeper
Melody is a Certified Tax Preparer with 37 years of experience. She is our “go to” person when it comes to unique tax situations! She also has completed many company’s quarterly and annual business filings.
David Tanner, Senior Tax Preparer and Junior Bookkeeper
David is a Certified Tax Preparer with over 20 years of experience and is our mentor for our junior tax preparers. He is also working toward his certification as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor. He assists Jon with the monthly bookkeeping tasks for our clients.
Julia Finnestad, Office Manager
Julia has been the office manager for over 10 years – she is part of the team that holds us together. Her team is responsible for our amazing customer service.
Danielle Schwarz, Office Administrator and Project Manager
Danielle has been the office administrator for 8 years and is another part of our amazing customer service team. Danielle has also become the project manager for all of our bookkeeping clients.
Jack Martin, Junior Tax Preparer
This is Jack’s second year as a junior tax preparer at our office. He is working part time at our office assisting with the preparation of the tax returns.
Stephanie Tanner, Office Administrator
This is Stephanie’s second year as a part time member of our amazing customer service team working on Saturdays.
Taylor Gustafson, Junior Tax Preparer and Junior Bookkeeper
This is Taylor’s first year at Venn and we are excited to have his help with preparing tax returns. Taylor is working toward becoming a Certified Tax Preparer and a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
