About Us
Why the name Venn Tax and Bookkeeping?
I was looking for a name for my company that was a little unique. I wanted to pay homage to my Norwegian heritage and discovered that Venn is Norwegian for Friend. This is perfect as I truly do see my clients as my friends – they are not just a business relationship but a relationship where we work together to reach common goals.
I was also excited to find this because a Venn diagram is an illustration that uses circles to show the relationships among things or finite groups of things. This is perfect as it signifies the relationship between your business and mine.
The Venn Tax and Bookkeeping Team
Jon Gustafson, Senior Tax Preparer and Senior Bookkeeper
Jon is a Certified Tax Preparer with over 25 years experience and Jon is a certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor.
He has also received the Certificate of Completion from Bookkeepers Launch. This shows that he has learned and demonstrated in-depth understanding of the skills and resources necessary to excel as a bookkeeper and a business owner.
David Tanner, Senior Tax Preparer and Bookkeeper
We are so blessed to have David work with us again this year. David is a Certified Tax Preparer with over 20 years of experience. He has also received the Certificate of Completion from Bookkeepers Launch. He works throughout the year with many bookkeeping tasks for our clients.
Danielle Schwarz, Office Administrator and Project Manager
Danielle has been the office administrator for 10 years and is the leader of our amazing customer service team. Danielle has also become the project manager for all of our bookkeeping clients.
Taylor Gustafson, Tax Preparer and Bookkeeper
This is Taylor’s third year at Venn Tax and we are excited to have him preparing tax returns again this year. Taylor is a Certified Tax Preparer and has also received the Certificate of Completion from Bookkeepers Launch and is working towards becoming a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Taylor works on many bookkeeping tasks throughout the year as well as being the lead payroll processor at Venn Tax.
Jack Martin, Tax Preparer
This is Jack’s forth year as a tax preparer at our office. He is working part time at our office assisting with the preparation of the tax returns.
Chris Olson, Tax Preparer and Bookkeeper
We are excited that this is the second year for Chris as a tax preparer at our office. Chris is now a Certified Tax Preparer and he is working towards receiving his Certificate of Completion from Bookkeepers Launch. Chris has accepted a full time position with Venn Tax and will be assisting with the bookkeeping tasks for our clients.
Cassandra Carpentier, Office Administrator
This is Cassandra’s first year as an office administrator. We are excited to have her join our amazing customer service team.
Amy Frattalone, Junior Tax Preparer
We are excited to welcome Amy to her first year as a junior tax preparer at our office. She will be working part time at our office assisting with the preparation of tax returns.
